"Just Between Us" Mentoring Program (JBUMP)

The JBU Mentoring Program is a faith-based program designed for at-risk females to promote positive relationship development and intergenerational bonding between youth ages 10-18 and mature, experienced women.

Community Cares Program
The GWCF cares about its community.  Hot, free lunches are served two times each month (2nd & 4th Fridays) and food boxes are issued from the pantry on these same days. (This program is currently inactive.)

School Supply Give-Away and Resource Fair
Age appropriate school supplies provided to students grades K-12 every year in August.  Additional resources are provided to families to support the academic pursuits of their students.

Building Tomorrow's Leaders (BTL) Academy
Five (5) week summer program for middle school students offering social, educational and recreational activities. (This program will be implemented pending funding approval).

Abe Banister Scholarship Fund
Scholarships awarded in June of each year to graduating high school seniors attending institutions of higher education.

Community Development & Housing Project
Consist of the rehabilitation of properties in the target area serviced by the GWCF.  The project will create quality, livable, and affordable housing options to low and moderate income families.
